| FRESH INSIGHT Part 3 |
| As we continue on this 21 Day Focus for Fresh Insight, I like you to pause, put your hand on your heart and dedicate this time to the Lord and to consecrate yourself to Him completely. Lock yourself away with the Word of God and become marked by His Word. DAY 8 FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST Revelation 1:1-3 1[THIS IS] the revelation of Jesus Christ [His unveiling of the divine mysteries]. God gave it to Him to disclose and make known to His bond servants certain things which must shortly and speedily come to pass [a]in their entirety. And He sent and communicated it through His angel (messenger) to His bond servant John, 2Who has testified to and vouched for all that he saw in his visions], the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. 3Blessed (happy, [c]to be envied) is the man who reads aloud [in the assemblies] the word of this prophecy; and blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who hear [it read] and who keep themselves true to the things which are written in it [heeding them and laying them to heart], for the time [for them to be fulfilled] is near All mysteries are hidden in Christ Jesus and the book of revelation is just that, a revelation; His unveiling of the divine mysteries. We are promised in Isaiah 45, that the mysteries, the hidden treasures will be unearthed and revealed to us. As we hear the words of this prophecy, and understand the mysteries, there is a need to keep oneself true to those things written. God is looking for truth in our inward parts. We can stand in His presence with clean hands and pure hearts and enjoy the revelation poured out, because of the cleansing of Jesus' blood and the Refiners fire. PRAYER: Lord, I thank you, that Your word has made me clean and that I am refined by Your fire. Because of Your blood, can I draw close to You. Draw me into You. Many are being drawn towards the Lord right now. Lord I want to sup and dine with You and see You release mysteries today. Today is my day! I am ready to go further. I am ready for Your glory. DAY 9 FOCUS ON JESUS CHRIST Numbers 6:24-26 24The LORD bless you and keep you; 25the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Revelation 1:14b and His eyes like a flame of fire; 2 Corinthians 4:6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Can you see Jesus' eyes like a flame of fire, as John described them in Revelation 1? Can you see the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ? I never really understood the part of the Jewish Priestly Blessing, about the Lord's face to shine upon you, until I saw it in connection with the other scriptures (see above). When the Lord's face shines upon you and me, we see His eyes full of fiery love for His Bride. We can see the glory of God in His face. It is a face to face encounter. When we speak to people, we look into their face, more specifically into the eyes. The eyes are the window to the soul. When your eye is evil, your entire body is evil. But in the eyes of Jesus, we see His fire, we see His passion, we encounter the depth of His intentions. Even when Jesus folded the cloth, which was placed around His face, in the tomb after His resurrection. He laid it next to the burial cloths, by itself lovingly folded. It indicates we are free to have a face to face relationship with Him. PRAYER: Lord, You alone are worthy to break the seals, You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The bright Morningstar. You shine and reflect the knowledge of the glory of God in Your face. Lord, I want to look into your face and lock gaze with Your eyes. Drinking in the fiery love you have for me, as Your Bride. For the sake of the world, burn like a fire in me! DAY 10 FOCUS ON THE HOLY SPIRIT John 20:21, 22 21Then Jesus said to them again, Peace to you! [Just] as the Father has sent Me forth, so I am sending you. 22And having said this, He breathed on them and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit! It is time to press into Him further and bring your heart before Him. Breath and release, breath and release. Receive the fresh breath of the Holy Spirit, the fresh oil. Come to Him as a child, and dance, shout and praise Him. Worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, who will lead you into all truth. PRAYER: Holy Spirit, You are the breath of God. I receive the Spirit of Truth and through Him I will be worshipping Jesus in Spirit and Truth. Thank you for leading me into all truth and leading me on the straight and narrow path. Show me what is in my heart and unearth all things hidden. I worship You in Spirit and Truth, no other lovers before You. I put on my dancing shoes and let all heaviness go, since You give me the garment of praise instead of heaviness. DAY 11 FOCUS ON THE HOLY SPIRIT John 16:13-15 13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. The Trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit are always in agreement and unity. Therefore, when Jesus said it was better for Him to leave, so He could send the Holy Spirit, He knew each one of us, filled with the Holy Spirit and lead by Him, would be able to impact the world around us. He is your helper, comforter and counselor and will be with you forever. He is the one who leads you by His peace and will glorify Jesus, and will declare everything Jesus has, to you. PRAYER: Thank you, Holy Spirit for dwelling with me, You are as close as my breath. Thank you for leading me into all truth and revealing those things you have received from Jesus. Thank you for bringing me into unity and harmony with what the Father has for me in this hour. DAY 12 FOCUS ON THE WORD OF GOD Hebrews 4:12 Amplified Bible (AMP) 12For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart. Today I like to focus on the Word of God; on how effective it is. Especially, being a two-edged sword, penetrating to divide the soul realm from the spirit. Years ago I had a vision, I experienced a sword dividing me into two, almost like laser beams. It was a painful experience, because I had to let some things that were dear to my heart go. But I welcomed this process, because I knew it was separating my soul power from the spirit within me. I was not to be ruled by my soul anymore; including my will, mind and emotions. Instead, by the Spirit of God within me. We are three in one, just as the Trinity is; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are a Spirit being, who has a soul living in a body, our earth suit. Jesus made His body surrender as He bowed His head while on the cross. His will, mind and emotions were surrendered to the Father. He also committed His spirit to the Father. PRAYER: I come to You Father, asking for forgiveness about living out of my soul and allowing my will and emotions to rule me. Today I use this two-edged sword of the Word of God prophetically, to divide my soul from my spirit. I separate the power my soul has had over my spirit. I am free to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Hallelujah! DAY 13 FOCUS ON WALKING IN THE SPIRIT Romans 8 Amplified Bible 1THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death. 3For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, [c]deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice], 4So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit]. I am free from the law of sin and of death. Why? Because of the law of the Spirit of life, which is in Christ Jesus, has freed me. He was the offering of sin, once and for all, therefore sin has been overcome and deprived of its power over all who accept the sacrifice Jesus did. I am in right standing with God and I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am moving in the ways of the Spirit and are controlled by the Holy Spirit! PRAYER: Lord, thank You that I can walk according to the dictates of the Spirit and not after the dictates of my flesh. There is no condemnation for me, because I am in Christ and I am living and walking according to the Spirit, and therefore do not fulfill the lust of the flesh. I release all those areas to You, where I have walked according to my will, my emotions and my carnal mind. I am free to serve You, I am free to hear You today! I know You trust me, and I love You. DAY 14 FOCUS Romans 8:26-27 Amplified Bible 26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. 27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God's will. Isn't it marvellous, that we can rely completely on the Holy Spirit, Who knows how to make intercession, according to and in harmony with God's will. If I do not know God's will in a situation, I pray in the Spirit. It is like a circle. The will of God comes through the Holy Spirit, as I pray and the intercession is released back to the Father to complete the circle.
