The last ministry trip to Ireland, France and Germany was above and beyond I could ever think or hope for! Isn't it just like Jesus to suprise us and give us abundance and utter overflow. My heart is overflowing with gratitude about the many people who were touched, delivered, healed and saved. In Ireland the main mandate was to minister at houses of prayer, to encourage leaders of home groups, churches, etc. Along with outreaches in an area devastated by much crime and violence in Northern Ireland. A group of young people heard the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and most of them made a decision for Jesus. It seemed like the Holy Spirit apprehended them as they had hearing ears. What a joy to watch this amazing transformation right in front of my eyes...and I can hear the rejoicing that is going on in heaven over just one sinner turning to Christ!!! In Paris, I was delighted to preach at four congregations and ministering at a youth group meeting. As well as the outreaches on the streets. I personally prayed with numerous people to receive Jesus and talked to Muslims about the Lord. The message was about the fresh oil, fresh wind and breath of God, as well as the overflowing of our cups. The fire of God releases bondages and brings boldness. The Refiner's fire and the Launderer's soap comes to refine and cleans us, so that a rapid flow of His Presence is released. Many hungry hearts received a fresh touch from the Lord and a release of the restraint religion has placed upon them. When I ministered in Paris last April, one of the Pastors was ready to walk away from his calling. But when he witnessed the fire of God and the salvations on the streets of Paris, he was encouraged and "refired". The Pastor's faith has been increasing and the congregation has been moving into a larger place. Onto Normandy, France, which is in the Northern part of France and is well known for the battle on D-Day during World War II. This is also the place where Jean Ribault along with many other Huguenots embarked on two ships to come to Ft. Caroline, nowaday Jacksonville, FL, on 1 May 1562. Most of you know, the encounter I had with the great cloud of witnesses years ago when I came to Jacksonville. Standing in the woods I saw the heavens open and witnessed the arrival of the Huguenots and the slaughter that followed. Many of them were martyred and I could see them as part of the great cloud of witnesses. They cheered me on to take the torch and run with the mandate. The supernatural power of God I felt, caused me to run through the woods as I took the torch. It was quite a supernatural experience and I will never forget it, because it caused me to realize why the Lord gave me a house, in the same area they came to. It is time to take back the ground for the kingdom of God, spiritually and physically. Whatever they set out to do was God-ordained and their sacrifice will never be forgotten. I can sense a generational connection with what they started and with what happened to me so many years later. In Hebrews 11, we learn about the people of faith, who died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off.. (see Heb 11:13) But God had something better planned... "All of these people we have mentioned received God's approval because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. For God had far better things in mind for us that would also benefit them, for they can't receive the prize at the end of the race until we finish the race." Heb 11:39,40 Living Bible So here we have it...a generational work...as a Huguenot I realize that my ancestors saw something by faith and started out to fulfil it. Since they did not received all that God had promised while on earth, they are witnessing, from heaven, the race run throughout all the generations and together we will obtain the price. Heaven and earth touches and we are part of one another. We are already seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and bringing heaven to earth. The Lord opened a door for me to preach at the church in Honfleur, France. There used to be a Huguenot revival center. Many were also martyred in that area. The church moved to a new building in Honfleur, the Sunday I was there! I was still speaking when the fire fell on the congregation. The youth was called out for prayer first. Some of them fell under the power of God without hands laid on them. Others rolled on the floor, laughing, crying and wailing. Fire is catchy and many others were impacted. God's power was manifested with signs and wonders, healing and deliverance. Glory be to God. The rest of our time there, was filled with encouraging the leaders, who have been through much persecution. They were broken before the Lord and much ministry was done. Impacting house groups as we traveled from place to place. Many deliverances took place, where the enemy had a tight grip on entire families, the glory of God, the manifest presence and anointing of the Lord destroyed every yoke of bondage. For me personally, I felt a full circle was done by ministering in Honfleur and La Havre. Expect the Lord to bring things to a closure, the old to pass and the new to come. The old cycles to come to an end and the new thing the Lord is doing to spring forth in your life. Release the old and embrace the new. Old patterns holding you back and restraining you from entering into the fullness of your calling and gifting.
