PROPHETIC INSIGHT FOR 2011
As I was spending a week of intense prayer, intercession and fasting as a team, the Lord showcased the following highlights for this New Year 2011. RESURGENCE I was invited to speak at a local meeting and as I walked into the room, I saw a vision. I saw the water in the ocean receding as the tide was going out, and then I saw a huge wave coming back unto the beach overtaking the entire area with GOD’S power. The word I heard was RESURGENCE. The definition in the Webster Dictionary of the word Resurgence means A rising again. And the word Resurgent means Rising again, as from the grave. Surging back again. The words Resurge/resurging means to rise again, be resurrected, to surge or sweep back again as the tide. This vision and word were not just for the place I was, but also to many in the body of Christ. In the past years, many saints, ministries, home groups and churches have experienced a great pruning. According to John 15, we are exhorted to abide in Christ and as we bear fruit, we will be pruned back in order to bear much more fruit for the glory of God. Now after this pruning, the Lord is issuing forth a resurgence, a rising again, upon those saints, who have been faithful and humbled themselves under the mighty hand of God. There has been a great time of testing and many have felt the sting thereof. But those, who have allowed the trials to perfect them, will experience a time of being raised up by the Lord. ..count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. James 1:2-4 In surrendering all to Jesus and allowing everything that is dear to our heart, even our very life and existence, to be released to Him; He will cause those things to be shaken and removed which are not of Him and only those thing, which are of Him will remain. Then will we be most effective in His hands and will only do those things the Father is showing us to do. “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me, and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” John 12:24-26 During this dry time of releasing all, a deep well is dug by pressing into Jesus. The time of intimacy and experiencing Him has caused many to return to their “first love”. It is time to “Arise and shine for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1 KJV Jesus is breathing upon His sons and daughters, just as He was breathing upon His disciples. The Lord is anointing many with fresh oil and their cups are overflowing again (see Psalm 23). They are rising again, even out of the circumstances life has kept them under, and are resurrected to new life in Christ, which is the abundant life He has promised in John 10:10. Now the way has been opened to experience a tidal wave of blessings and for His glory to be seen upon us. (See Isaiah 60:2) RESURRECTION POWER In this year and years to come, we will see a drastic increase of resurrections from the dead all over the globe. The Lord is challenging His body to press in and have faith to engage in the Lord’s mandate: “And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” Matthew 10:7-8 HOUR OF THE WISE VIRGINS, THE BRIDE, THE OVERCOMERS Those who have experienced numerous trials have had an opportunity to overcome in Christ Jesus. The Lord is looking for the wise virgins, His Bride, who are the overcomers Both the wise and foolish virgins had their lamps. But only the wise virgins had enough oil. When the time came for the Bridegroom to show up, the foolish virgins asked the wise to give them oil. But the wise virgins knew they could not impart this kind of oil to them. Because it is the oil of intimacy with the Beloved and can only be obtained from Jesus Himself. (See Matthew 25). Make sure your lamps are filled with oil by spending time with Jesus and allowing Him to fill you to overflowing. “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding, and the door was shut.” Matthew 25:10 This is the hour of preparation and to make sure we are ready for the Bridegroom when He comes. The bride has made herself ready... (see Rev. 19:7-8) They overcame him (the accuser of the brethren) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Rev. 12:11 WALKING IN GREATER AUTHORITY TO TAKE CITIES, REGIONS AND NATIONS FOR THE GLORY OF GOD Jesus said that all authority has been given to Him and therefore go.. We have been given HIS authority, but many are not walking in it nor releasing it. Our capacity and revelation of the authority we have in Christ must be expanded and will cause a boldness and assurance of the fact, that we are able to influence entire nations for the kingdom of God. (See Matthew 28:18-19). There will be an increase of greater authority to take cities, regions and nations for the kingdom of God, for those who have been faithful in little and have been pressing into the glory of God confessing: “ not my will be done, but YOURS.” KINGDOM AND TEAM MENTALITY The equipping ministries, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists, who are endeavoring to train and release the saints to do the work of the ministry, will flourish in this season. Those who will be fitly joined and are growing into a spiritual house edifying the body of Christ and growing up in all things into Him, who is the head - Christ- , will see the glory of God in a greater measure flowing to each of them and hence out of them and into the nations.
