THAILAND UPDATE
| THAILAND UPDATE: I met Somsaat during my mission trip to Thailand and it was truly a God-ordained connection. Since 2009, we have been able to help this ministry financially. Somsaat graduated from The Full Gospel Bible College in Bangkok. He has a vision for the Hmong Tribal people, especially for outreaches amongst Hmong children and missions with them. Somsaat helps with the Hmong youth in 16 churches. Each year in October, a Hmong youth camp is held. The Christian members are in the areas of Chiangkhong, Waengkang, Thong, Chiangsang, Payamangrai District & Laos. Since Somsaat grew up with Missionaries and learned first hand how to minister by accompanying them, he has the same vision for the three boys living with him; to take them with him when he goes to Outreaches, Bible teaching and Visits and this is an opportunity for the children to learn how to love, give, and minister God. This is a new generation and Somsaat likes to see them become disciples of Jesus Christ. As he is taking care of three boys, he wants to be firstly be a good sample to them, and them learning from him, before he serves and proclaims God to others. Please pray for Somsaat and the boys. The monthly costs are approximately $500 to provide housing, food, school expenses,
etc. I along with the team, stayed at the home in Northern Thailand during the
trip. The neighbors are mostly Christians and the boys are going to school and are
brought up in the Christian faith.
Please, pray and ask the Lord about giving to this outreach, perhaps a one time gift
or monthly donations. A 4x4 truck is needed and funds are presently raised for it.
